Dosage / Direction for Use: IM Preventive or pre-exposure vaccination Inj on days 0, 7, 28 w/ boosters during the 2nd & 6th yr of life. Post-exposure vaccination Adult & childn Inj on days 0, 3, 7, 14 & 28. Previously immunized subjects <5 yr 2 inj in days 0 & 3.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity. Post-exposure therapy, pre-exposure prophylaxis.
Special Precautions: IV inj. Pregnancy & lactation.
Side Effects / Adverse Reactions: Pain, erythema, edema, pruritus, induration at inj site; moderate fever, shivering, faintness, asthenia, headache, dizzinesss, arthralgia, myalgia, GI disorders eg, nausea, abdominal pain; anaphylactiod reactions, urticaria, rash.
Interactions: Corticosteroids, immunosuppressants.
