LEVIT 500MG TABLET (TABLET)

Dosage / Direction for Use Initially 1 g on day 1 in 2 divided doses. Thereafter, may be increased in increments of 1 g every 2-4 wk. Max: 3 g daily. Administration May be taken with or without food. Special Precautions Avoid abrupt w/drawal or transition to or from another type of antiepileptic therapy. Patients w/ reduced renal function or undergoing hemodialysis. Assess renal function in patients w/ severe hepatic impairment. Side Effects / Adverse Reactions Somnolence, weakness, dizziness. Anorexia, diarrhea, dyspepsia, nausea, ataxia, headache, amnesia, depression, emotional liability, insomnia, aggression, nervousness, tremor, vertigo, diplopia & rash.
