1 cap every 8 hr.
Administration
Should be taken with food.
Contraindications
Inflammatory bowel disease. Patients suffering from peptic & intestinal ulceration. Renal or hepatic impairment.
Special Precautions
Signs of hemolytic anemia when taken for a prolonged period of time. May affect platelet function. Avoid in epileptics. Concurrent therapy w/ other plasma protein binding drugs; anticoagulants. Patients suffering from dehydration & renal disease, particularly the elderly. Pregnancy. Childn <14 yr.
Side Effects / Adverse Reactions
Hepatic function disorders; transient increase in serum transaminase levels. Mild fever, malaise & liver tenderness. Nausea, anorexia, vomiting, diarrhea & aggravation of peptic ulcer.
